Our project managers are responsible for overseeing projects from the initial bid to closing it out. They are your main point of contact along with the office staff. If you did not interact with one of these rock stars at the inception of your project, you are not working with Minnesota Chimney.

Ben Saxton, Owner

Ben is the proud father of a 3-year-old boy. He lives with his girlfriend and their son in Albertville, MN. He's a devoted family man and self-described "workaholic." Ben started in the trades at 18 as an asbestos remediation contractor and mastered several additional trades - including commercial HVAC cleaning, mold remediation, and lead abatement - before finding the perfect home in chimney and fireplace installation and repair. Insatiably curious, Ben thrives on finding the most efficient and effective solution for any given problem. A born troubleshooter, managing the day-to-day operations of the company provides plenty of opportunity for him to test his mettle.

Corey Koebernick, Project Manager

Corey lives in Annandale, MN, with his girlfriend and their 3 children and 2 dogs. He grew up "wrenching on stuff" ever since he can remember, taking on myriad improvement projects in their family home. He took apart and put back together anything he could get his hands on, including vehicles. As a gifted artist as well, Corey found the perfect marriage of workmanship and artistry in crafting exquisite chimneys and fireplaces.

Tyler Tall, Project Manager

Tyler lives with his family in Shoreview, MN. He learned from his father at a young age how to work with his hands - tinkering with bicycles, then dirt bikes, to cars over the years, culminating in the full rebuild of an Audi B6 S4. Tyler's precision and skill in putting things together translates into superior workmanship in the field. When he's not building chimneys, he enjoys extreme sports, including BMX, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and dirt-biking.

Mike Apman, Project Manager

Mike is the proud father of 5-year-old twins and lives in East Bethel, MN. He spent 25 years as a journeyman laborer in the construction industry, in local 563. An accomplished "jack of all trades," he has broad experience in several fields, including construction, demo, concrete, HVAC, and chimneys. His versatility serves the company and customers well. When Mike's not writing expert level 2 chimney reports or pinpointing the most effective way to clean a given commercial HVAC unit, he enjoys the calm and contemplation of fishing.
